LA CROSSE — The La Crosse co-op girls swim team posted an 88-75 dual victory over Wisconsin Rapids at UW-La Crosse on Tuesday.
Logan senior Finley Thompson led the way for the team — it includes swimmers from Central, Logan and West Salem — by winning two individual events and helping two relays to victory.
Thompson won the 200 individual medley in 2 minutes, 45.7 seconds and the 500 freestyle in 6:33.88. She also swam with the winning 200 medley relay (2:09.9) and 400 freestyle relay (4:28.68).
Logan senior Annika Vianden and West Salem sophomore Lilyana Wolf were three-event winners.
Vianden was first in the 200 freestyle (2:25.69) and 100 butterfly (1:08.5), and Wolf won the 100 breaststroke (1:15.91) and 100 freestyle (57.44) in addition to her leg of the 200 medley relay.
Central senior Julia Harrison and freshman Adalynn Steedle were part of both winning relays, and West Salem senior Breeley O’Donnell won the 100 backstroke (1:15.53).
