LA CROSSE — The La Crosse co-op girls swim team picked up victories in five events during a 94-75 loss to visiting Eau Claire North at UW-La Crosse on Thursday.
Logan senior Finley Thompson and West Salem sophomore Lily Wolf were both double winners for the team, which also includes swimmers from Central.
Thompson won the 200-yard individual medley in a time of 2 minutes, 43.44 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:10.12. Wolf won the 200 freestyle in 2:07.69 and the 500 freestyle in 5:36.9.
Logan senior Annika Vianden also posted a victory with her winning time of 27.15 in the 50 freestyle.
Those three also combined with Kiley O’Donnell to place second in the 400 freestyle relay (4:13.44). Vianden was also second in the 100 freestyle (1:04.03), while Addy Steedle was second in the 100 butterfly (1:10.04).
La Crosse’s 200 medley relay of Thompson, Vianden, Steedle and Julia Harrison was second (2:11.69) as was its 200 freestyle relay team of Rozlyn Swenson, Steedle, O’Donnell and Wolf (2:02).
