CALEDONIA — The Caledonia High School baseball team scored all of its runs in the second and third innings to make up for a tough top of the first inning and beat visiting Randolph 7-5 on Saturday.
The Rockets scored four times in the top of the first before the unbeaten Warriors (4-0) scored four runs in the bottom of the second and three more in the third.
Left fielder Cooper Allen was 2 for 3 with a double and drove in three runs for Caledonia, which received nine strikeouts from pitchers Jack Schmitz and Max Schmitz. The two combined to allow five runs, but just one was earned. Jack Schmitz allowed one hit and struck out seven over five innings and Max Schmitz one hit and struck out two over two.
Shortstop Tyson Ginther also singled and drove in a run for the Warriors. Max Schmitz walked twice and scored twice.

CHIPPEWA FALLS — The Vikings (3-1) scored the final five runs to win the first game.
Third baseman Jason Bramwell drove in three runs with a double in the second inning and added a run-scoring groundout in the fifth to finish with four runs driven in for Holmen.
Catcher Noah Carlson also doubled, and left fielder Riley Weisbecker went 2 for 4 with two runs scored in the first game, and shortstop Nolan Mashak had a stolen base and an RBI.
Johnny Sheetz and Wyatt Aponte pitched and allowed a combined six hits for the Vikings. Sheetz allowed two earned runs and struck out one in three innings, and Aponte struck out two in four scoreless innings.
Holmen scored twice in the top of the first inning in the second game, but the Cardinal had three innings of five runs or more to win.
Right fielder Joe Metter hit a solo home run, second baseman Nolan Lomas doubled, and Alex Goryl and Landen Kelly each drove in a run.
