LA CROSSE — Aquinas High School senior Sammy Davis became her team’s career scoring leader with a 20-point performance that highlighted a 75-27 win over eighth-seeded Amherst in a WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal on Friday.
The top-seeded Blugolds (23-2) won their 11th straight game and set themselves up for a regional final at home against fourth-seeded Viroqua (16-8) at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Davis now has 2,119 points as a Blugold, and that tops previous record-holder Lexi Donarski’s 2,107.
Davis scored all of her points in the first half for Aquinas, which also received three 3-pointers and 11 points from junior Liv Dickinson and 10 points and six assists from junior Ava Fernholz.
Aly Bezemek had nine points and Eva Willenbring a team-high seven rebounds.
Viroqua 68, West Salem 63
VIROQUA — The fourth-seeded Blackhawks beat the fifth-seeded Panthers (14-10) for the third time this season to advance to the championship game at top-seeded Aquinas on Saturday.
Senior Josie Brudos lit things up with 31 points for West Salem, but it only had five players score. Brudos made five 3-pointers.
Sophomore Ava Hendrickson added 12 points, sophomore Amelia Karr had 10, and sophomore Anna Witte had eight for the Panthers.

Luther 64, Nekoosa 15
ONALASKA — The second-seeded Knights (16-9) won for the seventh time in eight games and earned a regional championship game against visiting Poynette, which is a sixth seed and beat third-seeded Bangor.
Sophomore Jaeyda Livingston scored a team-high 10 points in a balanced offensive effort. Eleven Luther players scored.
Sophomore Brinley Schmitz added nine points and freshman Mackenzie Torgerud eight.
Melrose-Mindoro 45, Fennimore 43
FENNIMORE — The fifth-seeded Mustangs (13-13) evened their season record by upsetting the fourth seed on the road.
Senior Anna Radcliffe scored 14 points to lead three double-figure scorers for Melrose-Mindoro. Senior Calysta Bautch added 13 and junior Bristol Coats 10.

Hortonville 69, Holmen 57
HORTONVILLE — Senior Macy Kline scored 23 points for the ninth-seeded Vikings (16-9) in a loss to the eighth-seeded Polar Bears.
Sophomore Aspyn Archer made three 3-pointers and added 11 points for Holmen, which trailed 37-27 after the first half but didn’t fade.
Sophomore Makenzie Nunemacher scored nine points for the Vikings.

Onalaska 43, River Falls 35
ONALASKA — Sophomore Kayla Ketelhut scored 15 points as the third-seeded Hilltoppers (19-6) advanced to a regional final against second-seeded Central (19-6) at the Mark Sutton Memorial Gymnasium at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Sophomore Kenzie Bauer made three 3-pointers for nine points for Onalaska, which led 19-14 at halftime.
Central 52, Sparta 38
LA CROSSE — The RiverHawks took care of the Spartans for the third time this season.
Senior Alahnna Simpson scored a team-high 22 points, and freshman Ellie Apuan added 11 for Central, which has won four of five games and owns two wins over Onalaska heading into Saturday’s regional final.

Division 2
REEDSBURG — The G-E-T co-op (133.375) and Sparta (133.325) earned spots in the WIAA team state tournament, while the Onalaska co-op (131.325) was fourth.
Onalaska’s Allison Komperud scored an 8.575 on the uneven bars to get a spot in the field for the individual state tournament.
Elin Gilles led the Onalaska co-op with a ninth-place finish all-around (33.1).
