CALEDONIA — The West Salem co-op gymnastics team had its run of 140 scores ended, but it wasn’t far off and recorded another victory.
The Panthers, who also include gymnasts from Aquinas and Bangor, completed a 139.825 performance to beat host Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston’s 131.725.
West Salem swept the top three spots all-around with senior Camdyn Lyga leading the way at 35.925.
Grace Olson was second (34.95) and Brielle Moore third (34.45).
Lyga posted event victories with her floor exercise (9.6), her balance beam (9.35) and her vault (9.1). She tied teammate Brenna Gottbeheat for sixth place on the uneven bars with a 7.875.
Moore won the bars with an 8.35, and she was backed up by second-place Olson (8.225). Moore was also third on the vault (8.7), fifth on the balance beam (8.975) and sixth on the floor (8.425).
Olson was also second on the vault (9.025) and uneven bars (8.225), third on the balance beam (9.1) and fifth on the floor (8.6).
Harper Myrah led the Warriors with an all-around score of 34.425 that was good for fourth place. Ayla Lange was fifth (33.775).
Myrah was third on the bars (8.075), tied for third on the balance beam (9.1) fourth on the vault (8.6) and floor (8.65).
Lange was second on the floor (8.95) and fifth on the uneven bars (7.925).
Candace Drury added a second-place finish on the balance beam (9.2) and was third on the floor (8.775) for West Salem.
