RUSHFORD — The Caledonia High School girls basketball team picked up its second win in a row by beating Rushford-Peterson 62-41 in a Three Rivers Conference game on Thursday.
The Warriors (2-1 overall, 2-0 conference) were led by senior Aubrie Klug’s 19 points. She knocked down three 3-pointers and scored 12 of her points in the second half as Caledonia expanded its 11-point halftime lead.
Senior teammate Nicole Banse added 18 points for the Warriors, who next host Byron (3-0) at 1 p.m. Saturday. Banse scored 11 points in the first half.
Aquinas 67, Onalaska Luther 42
LA CROSSE — Senior Sammy Davis scored 22 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead the Blugolds to a win over the Knights at the Reinhart Athletic Complex.
Davis made 9 of 19 shots — including three 3-pointers — to help Aquinas (4-1), which is ninth in Division 3 in this week’s Bound Wisconsin/Zaleski media poll, win its fourth game in a row and sixth straight on the home floor.
Davis scored 12 points in the first half as Aquinas built a 38-19 halftime lead.
Senior Alaina Elias also scored 12 points in the first half and finished with 14 in the game. Elias made 7 of 9 shots and had five of the Blugolds’ 20 steals.
Junior Liv Dickinson added 12 points with two 3-pointers, and junior Adi Bezemek made three 3s for nine points. Juniors Ava Fernholz and Eva Willenbring each had five assists.
The Knights (2-2) had a two-game win streak snapped and were led by sophomore Tessa Gloede’s nine points. Sophomores Carsyn Krause and Cara Unke added seven apiece.
Holmen 57, West Salem 49
HOLMEN — Sophomore Aspyn Archer made three 3-pointers and scored a team-high 16 points for the Vikings (3-1) in their second straight victory at the Bernie L. Ferry Fieldhouse.
The Panthers (0-2) cut an 11-point deficit to two in the second half, but Holmen scored 10 of the final 14 points to hold on for the victory.
Sophomore Anna Witte scored a team-high 15 points for West Salem.

Arcadia 49, Onalaska 42
ARCADIA — The Hilltoppers (2-2) lost their second game in a row as Tatum Drazkowski scored a team-high 16 points for the Raiders.
Juniors Finley Walters and Natalie Marso each scored 12 points for Onalaska, which started its season with wins over Onalaska Luther and Chippewa Falls before losses to Chippewa Falls McDonell and Arcadia.
Walters and sophomore Kayla Ketelhut each made two 3-pointers for the Hilltoppers. Ketelhut finished with eight points.
