2: Interceptions for Logan’s Viktor Kravanja during the Rangers’ 12-0 win over Ellsworth on Thursday. He picked off 2 passes from Jack Stoltenburg in he fourth quarter to help reserve the victory.
14: Consecutive completions for Onalaska quarterback Ian Kowal during the Hilltoppers’ 35-26 win over West Salem on Friday.He capped Onalaska’s first two drives of the season with TD passes and didn’t miss on a pass until 36 seconds remained in the first half.
16: Consecutive losses for Melrose-Mindoro in its nonconference series with Bangor before Thursday night. The Mustangs ended that streak with a 21-20 victory that was won when Brady Blaken ran in a 2-point conversion with 1.1 seconds on the clock.
30: Average yards per carry for Holmen senior Jack Barth in a 55-16 win at Medford on Friday. Barth rushed for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 6 carries against the Raiders. He also caught a touchdown pass.
46: Points scored by De Soto against Kickapoo/La Farge on Thursday. It’s the fourth straight year the Pirates have scored at least 40 points in an opener and the seventh straight opener they have won.
81: The longest touchdown of the week came on a double pass that produced a timely TD connection between Onalaska’s Wylder Burch and Luke Siegel. The play gave the Hilltoppers a 28-14 lead in what became a 35-26 victory.
263: Rushing yards for Arcadia senior Max Blaschko in a 26-13 victory over Webster on Friday. Blaschko averaged 10.5 yards per carry and finished with 2 touchdowns. He rushed for 1,099 yards and scored 9 TDs last season.
