LA CROSSE — Two of the top girls soccer teams in the MVC went to battle at Fields for Kids on Tuesday, and they walked away with a scoreless tie.
Neither West Salem High School not Aquinas could find an offensive possession that worked in a 0-0 tie that left the Panthers (6-1-2, 3-0-1) on top of the conference standings.
The Blugolds (4-1-2, 1-1-2) put seven of 14 shots on goal, and West Salem three of 14. The Panthers had six corner kids to Aquinas’ five.
