HOLMEN — The Holmen High School baseball split two nonconference home games on Saturday, winning the first and losing the second.

First baseman Noah Oswald hit a two-run single to left field that scored Brennon Metzler and Nolan Mashak with one out with the go-ahead runs. Oswald, who also doubled, was 3 for the 4, and the hit gave him four RBIs.

Right fielder Joe Meeter was 2 for 4, hit a home run and scored twice for Holmen, which came back from allowing three runs in the top of the first inning.

The Vikings loaded the bases in the bottom of the seven against Memorial, and a walk to Meetr plated one run before the final out was made. The Old Abes scored all of their runs in the third inning.

Meeter and left fielder Kekoa Rogers were both 2 for 3. Meeter drove in two runs and Rogers one, but the Vikings had a six-game winning streak snapped.
