ONALASKA — The Arcadia High School softball team scored five runs in the first inning and four in the fifth to start and finish a 13-0 Coulee Conference victory over Onalaska Luther on Monday.
The Raiders (1-2) had six players with at least one hit and six with at least one run batted in while senior Kaitlyn Bremer shut the Knights (1-1) down on four hits. Bremer struck out nine without walking a batter, and all of Luther’s hits were singles.
Bremer also drove in two runs with a hit in the first inning, and shortstop Layna Wozney and catcher Tatum Drazkowski both tripled in the fifth.
Wozney drove in three runs during a 2-for-3 performance, and Drazkowski’s triple plated two.
Left fielder Sacia Boland was 3 for 3 and center fielder Kylie Fitzpatrick 2 for 3 with two RBIs.
The Knights received two hits apiece from junior Rylee Weber and senior Amanda Yonkovich.
