ROCHESTER — The top-seeded Caledonia High School girls basketball team advanced to the semifinal round of the MSHSL Section 1AA tournament on Monday with a 66-25 victory over Zumbrota-Mazeppa at the Rochester Mayo Civic Arena.
The Warriors (25-3) won their seventh straight game and advanced to meet fourth-seeded Winona Cotter (18-9) at 4 p.m. Saturday. That game will be played at the Rochester Mayo Civic Auditorium.
Junior Aubrie Klug made two of Caledonia’s nine 3-pointers and scored a game-high 22 points for the Warriors, who had a 36-11 halftime lead. Junior Nicole Banse added 14 points with two 3s and senior Josie Foster 10 with two 3s for Caledonia, which beat Cotter twice by at least 13 points during the regular season.

Logan 71, Prairie du Chien 53
PRAIRIE DU CHIEN — The Rangers (7-16) snapped a six-game losing streak in a game they led by 12 by the end of the first half.
Senior Bradley Check made three 3-pointers in the second half and scored a team-high 17 points for Logan, which won for the first time since an upset over first-place Aquinas on Jan. 30. Freshman Tommy Check made two 3-pointers and scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half as the Rangers built a 36-24 lead.
Sophomore Harper Kendle also knocked down a pair of 3s and scored 11 points for Logan, which closes out the regular season at Tomah on Thursday.
Onalaska 68, Menomonie 63
MENOMONIE — The Hilltoppers (17-7) will take a three-game winning streak into the WIAA Division 2 postseason after collecting a road victory over the Mustangs.
Freshman Tyler Kowal scored a team-high 24 points for Onalaska. Junior teammate Ian Kowal added 20 and junior Tristan Molling seven.
