VIROQUA — The West Salem/Bangor co-op wrestling team scored a pair of Coulee Conference wins in a triangular hosted by Viroqua on Tuesday.
The Catbirds beat Arcadia 65-10 and Viroqua 78-4. Arcadia also beat Viroqua 65-12.
West Salem/Bangor won 18 of 21 matches wrestled, picking up 12 victories against the Raiders and six against the Blackhawks.
Caden Anderson (175 pounds), Mason Chambers (144), Justice Elam (150) and Nick Griffin (157) all won twice by pin for the Catbirds, while Miles Olson (285) won by pin and technical fall. Gavin Loging (126) won by pin and decision.
Arcadia received victories from Ony Zaragoza (120) and David Aguilar (165) in the loss to West Salem/Bangor and pins from Adalberto Ortiz (150), Derek Tamke (157) and Eric Rodriguez (285) in the victory over Viroqua.
