BLACK RIVER FALLS — Junior forward Calvin Lakowske continued a string season with four goals to lift the Black River Falls co-op boys hockey team to a 6-4 victory over Viroquas’s co-op at the Milt Lunda Memorial Arena on Tuesday.
Lakowske scored twice and teammate Ryan Magnuson once in the first 3 minutes, 10 seconds of the third period to help the Tigers break free from a 2-2 tie and take control.
Magnuson complemented Lakowske’s four goals with two of his own.
Jack Dahl scored twice in the third for the Blackhawks before Lakowske scored again for the Tigers. Maddux Alvarez also had two assists for Black River Falls.
Lakowske has 19 goals and eight assists this season, and he has scored four goals in a game three times. He also had five in a 12-3 win over Marshfield.
Dahl, a senior, had three of Viroqua’s goals. He now has five goals and four assists for the Blackhawks (1-4), who are on a four-game losing streak.

VIROQUA — The Tigers (4-3-2) had a 60-8 advantage on shots over the Blackhawks (0-10) and scored four times in the second period and three times in the third.
Eight players scored once each for Black River Falls, and both Klarissa Canfield and Camryn Steele scored one goal and assisted on another. Anna Janowski had two assists as the team’s final multi-point scorer of the game.
Alexa Moore and Jessi Berg combined on the shutout for the Tigers. They had four saves apiece.

WEST SALEM — The Cyclones (2-4-1) allowed three goals in the first period and four more in the second at the Panther Den during an attempt to win a second game in a row.
