EAU CLAIRE — The West Salem High School girls basketball team dominated the second half of a nonconference game and turned it into a 73-56 victory over Eau Claire North at an invitational hosted by the Huskies on Friday.
The Panthers (3-0) trailed after one half but outscored North by 19 points in the second half behind 11 second-half points apiece from senior Megan Johnson and junior Josie Brudos.
Johnson finished with a game-high 22, and Brudos had all 11 of hers after halftime as West Salem set itself up to take a three-game winning streak into Saturday’s game against Eau Claire Memorial.
Senior Makena Ihle scored 16 points for the Panthers, who also received 11 — with the help of three 3-pointers — from senior Sydney Quick. Johnson also made two 3s.

KETTLE MORAINE — The Blackhawks (3-0) built a 14-point lead by halftime to keep their season-opening win streak alive.
Senior Tannah Radloff made a pair of 3-pointers on her way to a team-high 22 points for Prairie du Chien, which outscored Eisenhower in each half and had a 35-21 halftime lead.
Radloff made both of her 3-pointers while scoring 16 points in the first half.
Seniors Rita Achenbach and Greenlee Krahn added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Blackhawks, who play Fennimore on Saturday.
